The main paths to the Sichuan Basin are those mountain roads formed by the erosion of waterways or rivers. The junction between the Yangtze River and the Jialing River naturally becomes a distributing center for human and goods. Located in the north of Chongqing, Beibei is a junction between the land route to Sichuan and the Jialing River. Under the plan and construction of Lu Zuofu, the father of Beibei, Beibei changed from a bleak mountain area into a sample of modern city in the Republic of China era. And now, Beibei has began its journey to build a newly emerging smart city. The video starts with the description and imagination about the landform and history of Beibei and the Jialing River, and unveils the local realities within the coverage of human activities.
